Frankenstein for Deep Water Fest 2022

These five "Creatures" costumes were created for the 2022 Deep Water Festival, which centered around the theme of Frankenstein. Designed to explore the fear of being the "other"—the ugly, the weird, the different—each costume took on a distinct identity, with names like Out of My Skin, Killer Watermelon, Inner Lizard, Black Swan, and Most Scary.

Participants were invited to step into these beastly forms, wear them during the festival’s events, and return to share their experiences of inhabiting another’s skin.
